Following on from the Summit, the non-government co-hosts convened a series of state & territory roundtable discussions entitled Affordable Housing: After the Summit

The participants heard a report from the Summit and discussed ways of advocating and implementing key priorities for action in their regions.

Harry Triguboff - an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO), Chairman and Managing Director of Meriton Apartments Pty Ltd.

David Hayward is the Director of the Institute for Social Research at Swinburne University of Technology (www.sisr.net). He is also Director of the Swinburne-Monash AHURI Research Centre. David’s research interests include social economics, particularly the funding of social policy, state government finances and housing policy.

David writes regularly for the Age newspaper, and appears frequently on television and radio current affairs programs as an expert commentator on social and economic issues. He is Chair of the editorial board of the journal, Urban Policy and Research (published by Carfax), and is a member of the Australian Institute of Public Administration and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Recent books include Visions for Victoria . A Long Term Vision for a Labor Government in Victoria (2003, edited with Peter Ewer) and Power Progress: An Audit of Australia's Electricity Reform Experiment (2004, edited with Graham Hodge, Valerie Sands and David Scott). He is a patron of the Victorian Epilepsy Foundation.
