David Cant - Chief Executive Officer Brisbane Housing Company
Prior to commencing this position in November 2003, David was Project Manager of the team within the Department of Housing that took the Brisbane Housing Company proposal from initial feasibility to incorporation.
David came to Queensland in April 2000 after a career in the housing association sector in the UK of over 20 years. His position prior to coming to Queensland was as Chief Executive Officer of the New Islington and Hackney Housing Association an organization with 6000 homes and 250 staff. In addition David was the Chair of another London based association and Treasurer of the London Federation of Housing Associations.
David has a degree in economics from Oxford University and a Masters in Town Planning from University College London.
